…that the people at Mozilla are out to get me ;). I’ve been going on a file-bugs-for-Firefox kick lately. Before filing a bug, I always search to make sure that there’s not a duplicate. And there never is… when I search. The first time, however, apparently someone filed WHILE I was filing mine. Five-minute time difference. Bah. The second time, I filed after searching (and finding nothing), and poof, a dupe appears out of nowhere. SEARCHING for keywords in the dupe yields no results! It’s the secret magic hidden dupe, meh. Ah well, I’m not discouraged. Hope those Mozilla folk don’t hate me too much
Sometimes I wonder why I live deep inside my heart
When all I feel is emptiness that’s tearing me apart
There’s a hollow feeling– reaching, reaching, deep inside my soul
And I run to You, for only You can truly make me whole
I run away from desperation; I run from fear and grief
I leave my loneliness behind me… You’re all that I need
And when it seems like running is the only thing to do
It doesn’t get me anywhere… unless I run to You.

Sigh. What a blah weekend.
Today, we travelled to El Dorado Springs for a nerd bowl tourney. I think we drew one of the hardest pools there. Make that THE hardest pool. The first two rounds were nothing special, but the third round, we played Webb City. They got a trifecta of easy bonuses and we went into the third quarter trailing by 110… that was when I gave up. We had a perfect record going into that game… 31 and 0. But, after the Webb City game, we were… 32 and 0. Lol, we out-scored them 220 to 40 in the next half to whip them by 70 points. So then we had to play them AGAIN for the championship, after lunch. This time, however, we beat them by well over 150 points, which was more accurate. They really aren’t that great of a team… but they ARE very fast.
Current record: 35 - 0, and I got fourth-place all-tourney team
The Dante’s Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Take the Dante’s Inferno Hell Test
As a side note, I want a Mac. Not to use for my primary computer, but to play with. And to learn how to use one. If you have one sitting around, please send it to me, and I’ll even pay postage, so there. If you have one that you use, send it to me anyway, and I’ll pay homage to you in some erzatz way.
/me is listening to Matt Wertz - Everything’s Right
Windows down as the night blows in
Tap the beat on the wheel as the tires spin
Until we’re there crank the radio
We’ll join in with the songs we know
Hey, everything’s right, said everything’s right tonight
Hey, everything’s right, said everything’s right tonight
Smiles light up as we walk in
Old conversations begin again
Nostalgia’s thick as the August air
It takes us back to a time when we didn’t care, we didn’t care
Hey, everything’s right, said everything’s right tonight
Hey, everything’s right, said everything’s right tonight
Everything’s riiiight…
Awww… Courtney sent me a Valentine all the way from Fremont. And it actually took some effort, since it was one of those cute little puzzles that you write a message on and then punch out. Thanks, Courtneybug. (Then again, I had been bugging her for quite awhile to send me a senior picture, so it was about time, heh.
And then, since Megan’s birthday is right around Valentine’s Day, I did up some balloons and candy with a hug card and took it over to her house. Three times. In the sub-freezing weather. Because she was never home. Actually, the second time around I went ahead and just put it on her porch, but then I realized she wouldn’t go in the front door… AFTER I got home. So trip three relocated the goods to a more suitable location. I think she really liked it, though, so that was good :smiles: Now just to find time to get together with her to tutor for the ACT…
