iSkin: Sonic

I just got my iSkin via FedEx ^_^ it’s going to be VERY nice for carrying the iPod around campus. No more worries about scratching it up. Now I just need earbuds; will look for those tonight.

Wordpress 1.2.1

Wordpress 1.2.1 fixes a couple issues found in the interim until 1.3 is released. I’m really not in the mood to diff a bunch of files right now, so I think I’ll wait for 1.3. But do what I say, not what I do. Go upgrade now.

Underwear

So Hannah and Maria came over tonight and asked me to take pictures of them modelling in their underwear… check it out!

Blah Netgear

Netgear routers choke on FQDNs that are equal to the primary DNS suffix of the computer. What’s more, they cache that value until they’re reset, which is why my website didn’t work in Linux either. Took me many hours of blood and tears to figure that one out. Boo. And I liked Netgear so much too… ;)

Who needs a car, anyway?

If you have a car at OU, you’re required to purchase a $169 parking permit if you want to park in the dorm parking lots. No permit is required to park after 7:00 or on Saturday and Sunday, and the only free parking is in Lloyd Noble Stadium, about a mile away. Being the spendthrift that I am, I of course park in Lloyd Noble. However, I forgot to take the car down there last night. I woke up about 6:00 this morning thinking, “Oh no, I’m going to have a ticket,” but decided it was worth sleep so I rolled back over and slept till 7:40. Popped out of the dorm at 8:00 and RAN the car down to Lloyd Noble (I had class at 8:30). Little did I realize how far back it was to the dorm. I got back after about 20 minutes of fairly hard running and picked up my stuff. Only a couple minutes late to class, but boy was I booking. My legs hurt.
