Bad: I have almost half still to write.

Bad: I’m not playing keyboard. I hope it sounds okay.
Good: I got to sleep in this morning.
Bad: I did so by missing my class, oops.
Good: I found out my iSkin is a great shock absorber and protects iPod from damage when iPod is dropped from three feet onto concrete.

Bad: She has limited Internet access = no Lothy time.
Good: I got to have dinner with Jenn.
Bad: That’s one of the last times I’ll ever see her… she’s transferring to OSU. Sadness.
Good: Two more days of school.
Bad: None.

How to Fold a Shirt, Pt. II

Apparently that “How to Fold a Shirt” video over in the sidelinks is bigger than I thought. Here is a better article with a nice illustration. Give it a try. I hear Luna’s mastered the art of Japanese shirt-folding.

How to Fold a Shirt, Pt. II

When you fall in a bottomless pit…

…you die of starvation.

And when you go to bed really late on a Thursday night because you were working, you forget to set your alarm to get up for class. Aggggggggggh.

So after getting all those free MSN Music songs, I found that (of course) they’re all protected WMAs. Won’t play on iPod, won’t play in Winamp. This must be remedied. So I came up with the following solution, which seems much simpler and faster than any of the others I’ve seen.

  1. Fire up Nero and use the Image Recorder to create an ISO with the songs from an album on it.
  2. Mount the ISO using Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.
  3. Use EAC + FAAC to “rip” the ISO into .mp4 format
  4. Now you have unprotected mp4’s that are playable on iPods, iRivers, Winamp, everything!
