This turned into such a good day. It sure didn’t start off too great, but it ended awesomely.

So I went in and demoed Sunbird for the Honors College people and am going to go back later to set things up, I think they really liked it! Hopefully this can be my in to OU IT.

As I was coming back up to my room, I saw Maria and was able to give her her Valentine. She asked a question about the Outstanding Freshman Award, which I thought was what I had been nominated for. Turns out they were different, and the app was due tomorrow (today)! So I dropped everything and got the app all together, then after ballroom dancing Sam came over and studied zoo to keep me company while I worked on the essays. Got it all done and ready to turn in! I think I have a good shot.

Ballroom dancing. I could do no wrong tonight, I was hitting every move and making every beat. So then as I was “gloating” to Sam and Amber as we went to get food, Amber looked at me and said “you still have your nametag.” Yeah, if you don’t turn in your tag, it counts as an absence. Oops. I could do wrong. Ran back and turned it in and all was well.

Then the best news, Maria found out that Honors students will be allowed back into Cate, yes! No apartment hunting. No extra money paid out. No icky feelings. Just yummy Honors :D I guess petitions + protests + the newspaper on our side = winnar. Yes.

App all printed, off to bed for a fun time of sleep-in! And then homework. And things.

Kristen is perhaps my favorite person in the whole wide world.
