Blog Stalker? Facebook Stalker!

I just got a call on my cell phone from a reporter from The Daily, who apparently went looking on Facebook for people who had blogs. He then yoinked my cell phone off Facebook and called me to ask questions about blogging. Hello, new era of no-more-privacy… not that I mind.

Why do I keep blogging anyways, I wonder. Mostly to keep people back home updated. But I’d like to start writing more in-depth articles on topics related to programming and coding more often.

Update: About an hour after I posted this, a photographer called and came over. Apparently I’m front-page-and-center in color. Owch.

Yay for ZAP

So I’m sitting in ZAP; it’s the day after a test so no one is coming in. I’m just here for another hour or so though. A few weeks ago a nice girl was in getting help; we worked through a whole test together and I gave her my phone number in case she had any other questions.

She called a few days later and told me that she had gone in again a few days later and the tutor who helped her “really confused her,” so she was hoping that I could do a little private tutoring before the exam. So we met twice for two hours, and she just e-mailed, really excited; she got a 98% ^_^

It’s nice to feel like you’re worth something in the tutoring department.

Break, sweet break

It’s been a loooooong time since I posted anything. But I’ve been enjoying break! Only once have I awakened before 10, and a couple times I ran all the way to the afternoon before awakening. Ah, that’s totally what break is for.

I spent a lot of wonderful (excellent! party time!) time with Kristen this week, who retains her spot as quite possibly my favorite person in the whole wide world. Nate is newly taken with her as well, as he didn’t know that she was such a good poet / lyricist. He’s going to teach her to play the bass, which should be amusing; she’s only 5 feet tall and the bass probably weighs half what she does :D I am also going to prom on April 2nd with her, and I’m muchly excited for that. It’s going to be so much fun, and hey, I can practice my ballroom dancing on the slow songs :P

Wednesday night was also definitely awesome. Kristen, Lacey (sp?), Nate, and I went house-defacing. I got together:

  • 4000 feet of caution tape
  • 3200 feet of Christmas tree ribbon
  • ~500 candy canes

and we went at it. Caution tape is so much nicer than toilet paper; it doesn’t get messy when wet or fall apart so you can’t clean it up. Just grab an end and pull. We hit four houses and got caught at a fifth, but managed to run and escape in time.

I had some bad bad stomach pains yesterday, but it must’ve just been something I ate. All seems fine today, and I’m definitely not complaining. Worst pain I’ve been in since the smooshed toe incident.

I plan to leave tomorrow (today) and arrive back at OU around 4 or 5. Somebody leave happy notes on my door to come back to :P

Hooome

Physics test done *kicks physics* bleh, bleh, bleh. But now I’m home free. Just gotta sit here in CS sleeping learning while I play video games learn. :)

I really hate driving. A four-hour drive is far, far worse than a little physics test.

WMDs

I found them!

@tachyondecay: I'm playing it right now. Don't really care for it…
