Bye, cycle
So for those that don’t remember, my bike got stolen on the last day of classes spring semester. Which was a bummer, cause I had no bike this semester. However, UOSA has a bike lottery where you can sign up to check out a bike for a semester. There were plenty of bikes for the people that signed up, so I got one.
I went to pick up the bike today and looked over the selection. Most were kinda dumpy but there were some nice ones too. I saw one that looked about right and didn’t have anything wrong with it… but I couldn’t take it; it didn’t have its registration and tags yet. Oh well.
So I went back this afternoon… and ALL the good bikes were tagged with people’s names
only the dumpy ones were left. I saw the one that I had wanted. It had been tagged.
With my name :O the nice UOSA secretary Carol remembered which one I had wanted and tagged it when it got its registration sticker. Thanks Carol
It needs some work… it doesn’t shift gears, and the seat is really low (my knees can touch my chin). But nothing a bit of fixing up won’t handle.
Micro lab tonight… :’(

You get way more use out of my tool kit than I do.
And it usually has to do with your bike.

Not sure if they’ve got one down in sNorman, but up here we have an annual bike auction. All the bikes that have been picked up around campus for lack of registration go on the aution block. I’ve heard of folks getting some good deals.
This year’s auction was today.

And you didn’t buy me a bike, orange boy?

Well you see, that’s where this whole thing called timing comes into play
