Quote of the Moment

I think if I tried to be prissy... I would just spontaneously combust or something. -Sam

Smash

Riding to class today, I went off the sidewalk into the grass to avoid some walkers, tried to go back onto the sidewalk but didn’t notice there was about a two-inch ridge that was hidden by the tall grass. Went flying quite spectacularly, thankfully not much damage to the bike or the Seth.

Crashing was definitely good for my French skills; I had enough adrenaline that I didn’t start to fall asleep until 3/4 the way through class…

Ugh

Don’t feel so good… dunno why…

But laundry is done. I decided it is technically feasible to do laundry once per month, I have enough of all the… requirements ;)

Perfect!

Okay kids, this guy did EVERYTHING right.

(20:38:56) Nhlmaster28: Hey this is chaingang28 from the invisionfree forum and since your admin I was wondering if you could validate my account?
(20:39:10) Seth: sure, what is your e-mail address
(20:39:18) Nhlmaster28: Nhlmaster28 at aol.com
(20:39:46) Seth: validated :) have a good night

  • He identified himself immediately, and stated his request, all in the first message
  • No “hey” or “yt?” messages
  • His request was not for support, it was for something related to the forums, of which I am the admin
  • He was nice about it

I salute you, Mr. Nhlmaster28; may others learn from your example :)

Infinity

I turned in the bonus problems today for my Organic Chem class. We got one point for each resonance structure of a particular molecule we were able to draw. I drew 28. Assuming they’re all correct— and Matt checked it over and thought they looked okay— I should have 33 bonus points so far in the class. However, we’ve had no actual grades in the class yet. Therefore, since lim(x → 0+) of n/x for all real n is infinity… my organic chemistry grade is infinite. Right?

Shadow

We had to do RA Shadowing for RA Training, following the duty RAs at a Center around from 10 to 2.

It’s 2:50. Rounds were completely uneventful.

Oh well. Less for me to write about.

Birthday coming up... and Caitlin does an amazing job at making me feel like the most special person in the world.
