DeskZilla
So I finally got my membership status approved at Ubuntu (took long enough
) and so now I have a shiny new e-mail address @ubuntu.com, yay!
Today was the release of DeskZilla, which is a desktop interface for Bugzilla, which Ubuntu also uses. Although DeskZilla is a commerical product, they offer free keys to anyone working on an open-source product (such as my work with Ubuntu). So I requested a key
which should make my Bugzilla work much more efficient.

Oh great, it’s broken for you too, yet in the ubuntuforums (which you seem to love spreading hate about) you said that it was working great for you.
“At InvisionFree, we hire support staff based on their technical competence, not their postcount.”
I hope you are not one of the people hired since you rather just say “works fine for me” when it really didn’t instead of just giving them the answer, uninstall and reinstall.
Nice of you to leave comments off on the rant about the mods at ubuntu, or you might have gotten comments about your own ignorance.
Cheers

Huh? It’s broken for me? DeskZilla works fine…
And heh, I wouldn’t want to be a moderator at UbuntuForums even if they asked, which they of course wouldn’t, since they hate dissent. Note that they got rid of some of the most competent members of their staff for disagreeing with the way things were run. But that discussion does not belong here or anywhere on this site.
