The Personal Touch

I just got an e-mail from Dr. Conway, who teaches MBIO 3813:

Congratulations! You got one of the high scores on the exam. Nice improvement.

Comparing with Sam, who got one too, he personalizes them for each student. That’s really a nice touch, I think. In other related news, I got a 90 on this second MBIO test, which means that 84 + 90 + I need a 96 on the third test to pop an A in the class :/ However, word has it from last semester’s MBIO students that he curves the class slightly at the end, even though he said he didn’t give curves in his class. I can only hope… a 96 seems pretty far to travel…
