Gooooo KDE
Haha, if Linus Torvalds isn’t going to convince you, no one will!
I personally just encourage people to switch to KDE.

Oh well, if the great Torvalds in the sky says I’m an idiot, so be it.
GNOME never gave me the impression that I was treated like an idiot. I use what works for me, but I’m not going to be a zealot about it.

Oh tch, don’t be a wet blanket. The point is not that “Gnome sucks” or sommat, it’s more that people often bash KDE for being “too complex” or “too Windows-like”, and it’s nice to see someone say, “Hey, give us more functionality instead of less” for a change.

Well, In my opinion, KDE is a better option, though my experience with it has been far more limited than with Gnome. Mainly because I’ve been putting off rebuilding my computer as long as possible.
It seems that Gnome is something of a memory hog. KDE seems much more efficient. :/ That’s my two cents.

Well I highly disagree that KDE is better than Gnome, gnome pwnz up KDE anyday, but the best out is OpenBOX w/ FBPanel IMHO!

KDE has crapped out on me too much for me to favor it over Gnome. I put Breezy on my new laptop and left it with Gnome so I could see if I could notice a difference, and I have yet to have any problems with Gnome.
