This is a new category I’m starting! It will contain quick, simple tips that I happen to run across in my daily usage of Ubuntu. It might be a cool program hiding in the Universe, or an easier way to perform a common task. Either way, it’ll hopefully provide info you haven’t seen before

Forums are back up, this time running on InvisionFree, so I’ll be eating my own dogfood In skinning it to match my site, I realized just how crufty, terrible, non-standards-based, and basically ugly the IPB 1.3 markup is. That’ll be fixed for IF2; I’ll see to it myself.

Not quite done with it, but everything works and you can register and post and things; it just won’t look 100% pretty.

And here’s my new desktop for December. Christmas-y and green, I heart green.

I was so nervous when I picked up the envelope… I had to go hide in a corner and open it verrrrry slowly. And I didn’t go frantics’ing around or anything when I saw “Congratulations!”… it was more a sigh of relief. That one word changed the whole course of my college career…

…and I’m looking forward to it so, so much.
