Haha, if Linus Torvalds isn’t going to convince you, no one will!
I personally just encourage people to switch to KDE.

This is a new category I’m starting! It will contain quick, simple tips that I happen to run across in my daily usage of Ubuntu. It might be a cool program hiding in the Universe, or an easier way to perform a common task. Either way, it’ll hopefully provide info you haven’t seen before ![]()
Forums are back up, this time running on InvisionFree, so I’ll be eating my own dogfood
In skinning it to match my site, I realized just how crufty, terrible, non-standards-based, and basically ugly the IPB 1.3 markup is. That’ll be fixed for IF2; I’ll see to it myself.
Not quite done with it, but everything works and you can register and post and things; it just won’t look 100% pretty.

Dear Seth,
Congratulations! Based on your positive performance throughout our Resident Adviser selection process, the University of Oklahoma Department of Housing and Food Services would like to offer you a SafeWalk Resident Adviser position for the spring 2006 semester. You have demonstrated to us what we believe to be the attributes essential to the RA position. You have been assigned to Couch Center. Jeff Lowe is your Center Coordinator and you need to make contact with him regarding your room assignment and move in for January.
I was so nervous when I picked up the envelope… I had to go hide in a corner and open it verrrrry slowly. And I didn’t go frantics’ing around or anything when I saw “Congratulations!”… it was more a sigh of relief. That one word changed the whole course of my college career…
…and I’m looking forward to it so, so much.
Hooray! My first upload into the Ubuntu archives, even though I should’ve had a few before except for bad luck
Birthday coming up... and Caitlin does an amazing job at making me feel like the most special person in the world.
