Burdened

If it hasn’t been evident yet, I’ve taken a brief hiatus from IF Support as I do believe that school is trying to eat me. Next week, I have 4 tests, a “long form” lab report (6-7 pages), two “short form” lab reports (3 pages), physics homework, and some writeups. Eeeek.

However, more notable perhaps is the phone call I got last Thursday, not even a week ago. I was blissfully napping before my SafeWalk duty started that night, when the phone jolted me awake.

“It’s Jeff; you need to come down to the office.”

So I pulled myself out of bed and tottered downstairs. I was told that we had lost the RA from 6 West, and so I was to move up to take his spot within the week. Nothing like advance notice :) starting the next day, I was the RA for the floor! I was given until today to put on a program, which I just had tonight. Sam and I cleaned the new room and tried to move stuff from the old room all weekend. I just got a desk today… and I still have no (usable) mattress for the bed, so I’m sleeping downstairs as of yet. However, things are slowly working themselves out.

It’s just a lot to think about in a small amount of time, so I’m taking a bit off from the extraneous stuff. I’ll be back in force the next week, which is spring break!
