Quote of the Moment

By the way, bad news server wise. We are no longer using the biggest servers around. But the good news is, I am already asking about how much bandwidth the "monster" has.

Yes, ev1 did name it "monster". -Brandon

TomTom goes home

One of the coolest Christmas presents I got was a TomTom GO 510 GPS. For those of you that know me, you may remember stories of me getting lost in the city of Joplin, lost on the campus of OU, even lost in my own neighborhood. Now I finally have a crutch helpful way to get around, accompanied by the sultry British woman living inside the TomTom. Why yes, I did choose a sultry British woman to do the voiceovers. Mmm. However, this tale of romance ends with woe: she left me. I have to send it back for repairs because it was broken out of the box– the back was cracked and the Bluetooth doesn’t work. How will I ever get back to OU? Oh wait… I’ve made it fine for a couple years without a GPS. Yay no worries!

My mom was looking at my blog redesign yesterday and decided that she wanted a blog too! So I spent a couple hours setting her up with TrinaKinast.com. Her color choices, not mine… at least I kept her from using a yellow background :O I should bother her until she blogs; then she’ll know how it feels!

I go back to OU on Sunday for RA Training. This is only the fifth time I’ve been trained over the same material, but the regs say we have to be retrained each semester. All in all, it’s a small price to pay for the RA package, and it’s nice to see all the RAs from other centers that we don’t get much time with during the school year. It also gives us some nice time with no residents and peace and quiet. Of course, the fact that we have the gigabit connections all to ourselves for a week doesn’t hurt either…
